Tommy Thompson’s career began in 1974. After having had 69 contests he retired through injury. His coaching career kicked off in 1981, and he is Nottinghams only senior ABA coach. He has worked and is still involved with Brendan Ingle’s stable in Sheffield and also with Johnny Nelson, Fidel Castro and Prince Naseem Hamed.
