Here are some splendid pics of our green-fingered author Kay Sexton at the launch of her new book, The Allotment Diaries last Friday. Not only were we treated to an entertaining reading from the diaries – describing one or two of the flamboyant characters from Kay’s allotment in Brighton – Kay also managed to demonstrate an inventive method of germinating seeds using a recycled plastic bottle and some string!
