Congratulations to Felicity Aston

Felicity Aston, author of Call of the White, has become the first woman to ski alone across Antarctica.

The record-breaking adventurer completed her exhausting journey over the icy continent today – after 59 days pulling two sledges for 1,084 miles.

She tweeted that she had made it to Hercules Inlet on the Ronne Ice Shelf, after finally completing her journey which started from the Leverett Glacier on November 25, last year.…

Felicity passes the 1000km mark

Felicity Aston, author of Call of the White,  has been making great progress and reached the South Pole shortly before Christmas Day on the 21st of December. Felicity has passed the 1000km mark in her 1700km, 65-day journey to become the first woman in the world to cross Antarctica alone.
